only two days!

There are only two days left until you're home! I've gotten all of your postcards and I LOVED every one! Can't wait to hear all about your trip! See you soon!

it's weird without you...

I decided to post today. I can't believe how much time we spend together until you're not around! I know it's because of a good reason, your Honeymoon, but I'm SO BORED when you're not here!

This must never happen again.

how it all began...

Katie and I met through a mutual friend, Erin, back in Spring of 2001. I worked with Erin downtown and Katie went to High School with her in Folsom. Erin had introduced me to her core group of girlfriends and invited me to a get together at one of the girl's houses. Gina, the host, had also invited Katie, whom I had not met yet.

Katie and I had both been informed that we probably wouldn't like each other, but upon meeting, hit it off right away. I became good friends with Katie and Erin and continued a friendship with the other girls.

Summer was just around the corner and Katie and I continued to hang out frequently. I was later introduced, by Katie, to our current friends Ryan Statham and Chris Terra at a party Chris was throwing at his parents house. Katie, Gina and I had a great time hanging out with Ryan and Chris drinking, laughing and creating memories that would last for years to come.

Katie and I became best friends and when Katie moved back from Hawaii, we moved out together and stayed roommates for 2 1/2 years. When it was time to move on with our significant others, we eventually moved down the street from each other. Katie and I have continued our close bond through good times and bad. I have endearingly nicknamed Katie, Bug; and she calls me 'T'.

Although our core group of friends has changed a bit, this story is only the beginning of the unbreakable bond Katie and I share. 5 1/2 years and still going...
